Mechanical Thrombectomy via Radial Artery

A complex acute ischemic stroke case was successfully treated using Mechanical Thrombectomy through radial artery access, an advanced minimally invasive neurointerventional technique used for restoring blood flow to the brain.

The patient presented with sudden neurological deficits and imaging revealed a major cerebral artery blockage. Considering vascular anatomy and procedural safety, radial artery access was chosen for intervention instead of the conventional femoral route.
